Not again!!!

Stuck again..
Spending Endless Useless time on Fb.. Waiting for new updates, stories, likes and comments.
Browsing internet aimlessly has become a Habit.
Not working towards any goal, instead acting as working towards it (LEBTOP).
Importance of book readin, health drinks, exercise and meditation are clearly visible. But still lazyness pulls me back from it.
Aimless, goaless, lifeless!

Pump in more oxygen, breath more! Exercise! Sweat!
Read! Cook! Yoga! Meditation!

Plan 3.0

Integrating good points of previous plan

New Ideas.

I dont want:
To feel lazy in the morning and wanting more sleep.
To balme myself or the situation.

I want:
To Feel LIFE as a GIFT. I want a happy muscle in every part of the body. Dont stress it. Free mind. Free world.
A pschological improvement needed along with the physical.

So Plan 3.0 is abt Body and Mind.

Fixed morning session. 6 - 8 : Meditation and yoga.

Write down and Repeat affirmations. At night and in the morning.

Dance 15 mins. Create the best playlist.

Become a  member of Toastmasters

Swim.

Run.

Eat Almonds & Drink Soy milk
Drink Green tea
Exercise , Buy Dumbells
Read a Book for 30 mins.
Watch a Ted Video.
Do the Time-Line exercise at Night.

Limit your Internet time.

Talk to real new people.

Write a plan and Start implementing Ideas.

Plan what to do in office when free, its precious 8 hrs of the day.

Plan to revise and update technical knowledge.

Organize office stuff.

Buy some good new clothes :)

Hectic day

Sat. Woke up late.
Did Yoga.
Booked tickts.
Planned last min movie. Saw it.
Went to headstart 1 hr late.
Collected passport at last min.

y do i do thngs at the last min?
I cud've avoided the movie.. But went for reasons of not to upset frnds..

I cud've called the courier guy n asked him to deliver passport early.

If i had cancelled movie plans, then i cud hv gone to the meetup early without tension.
But matbe i wud hv delayed that too as is my habit.

So wats the soln to be on time and cool ?
Taking time out to think thru future situations/ possibilities of the day.
I need to think thru to get to unseen or avoidable problems.

I hv a purpose.
Im work for it. I read S.V's books.
I exercise. Im mostly vegan.
I massage n do yoga.
I find new interesting stuff thanks to internet, books...

Im consuming knowledge, when will i find time to think and reflect?

Failed! Lessons learnt?

Project has failed!

But there are reasons to it. Which failed guy doesnt give reasons right? ya.

1) Travelled a lot and had too many night outs with friends.
Still did Yoga at odd times. The need to do yoga was there.

2) Had other important things to do , urgently.
More time and focus was on other things, rather than to avoid failure of this project.

Lessons:

Starting this project had made me realize that there's a lot of time I could effectively use for myself in a day.

if it was 100% of things i did in the project, later on when the project was't ON, then I tended to do 20-30% of those things. I retained some habits!

Maybe its not about "Doing one thing/ routine everyday".. maybe its about utilizing every minute.

Like in the old plan , i woke up early, to utilize the time for meditation, yoga, eating healthy food like almonds, soya milk.
In the evening I read books, exercised, drank green tea, limited internet time, etc..

So all in all it was the best use of a routine day.
But somedays I need to work late. some days I do other stuff.
I don't think there is an excuse for the morning schedule, Except while travelling.

What about books? No reason to not read a few pages everyday. Fit this in anywhere anytime in your schedule. What about green tea - drink at evening or night , but drink!
Almonds? , if u miss it in morning , eat it in evening or night, but eat!
Soy milk ? Drink it alternate days. Morning or night!

But to never skip meditation and yoga, I need to get up early.
Even if i sleep at 2 ?
Yes! 6 is the time I get up now on! Ok? To make sure Meditation and yoga get their time, these activities need calm, peaceful and alone time. It doesnt fit anywhere in the rest of the day.

So I need a checklist.
Fixed morning session. 6 - 8 : Meditation and yoga.
1)Almonds & soy milk
2)Green tea
3)Exercise
4)Book
5) Ted Videos
6) Mtech work
7) Call a relative / old friend

Will think more and start " The Perfect Ultimate Plan 2.0 "
This plan is born out of failure, it will rise to see success.

Hiatus

There's been a break! And i'm sorry for it! for myself.

Why couldn't have continued the plan at hyderabad ?
well, 1) I do nigthouts, sleep at around 2.
2) I am too busy. Many things to do.
3) I don't get much "me" time!

Anyways, It has been a bad thing to be out of the plan. But it has taught me some things, which I will be incorporating in new plans.

The Break is over!

I resume from tomorrow. Stick to it Nikhil. Break the loop of failure! Don't come back to where u started. Keep moving!

Day 10 - Summary Report

10 day analysis.

-I am getting up early (by 1 to 1.5 hrs)
-Im doing regular yoga
-Eating Almonds
-Drinking Soy
-Evening Book + tea
-Excercises

So its working.
But is it improving ?
Tweak it, change it for the better. Imporve it constantly.

Day 10 started bad.
woke up at 7.
Lesser meditation and yoga

I give this day a score of = 10 avg - 9 (for indiscipline) = 1

So Total Score on Day 10 = 180!

Improvements are difficult. Achievable target for this week , till saturday would be
180+10+10+10 = 210.

790 points to go. 79 days on avg.
More if indisciplined.
Less if improving.

Day 9 - Tweaking the plan

With some new info, I need to tweak the plan a bit.

1)Working out abs everyday isn't good. Max 3x a week.
So changing the workout everyday to alternate days.

2) Almonds are too good. Protien fibre and good fat. Eating method is right too, soak and eat.
For maximum benefits eat 23 almonds per day study says. I'll keep it to 15.

More fine tuning is required for
-Accomodating Running.
-More early morning meditation time.
-Adding a sport/any evening physical activity/skill.

Day 9. Starts ok at 7 am.
Ate 5 almonds, unsoaked!
Meditation, massage and yoga done.
Drank Juice
+5 for morning

Assuming evening goes well with
Green tea
Book
Excercise
Soy-milk
Work.
+5

So total score on Day 9 = 169+10 = 179

Day - 8

I seem to be losing motivation, but I realize this is the time to stay on track!

Day 6 was a semi-success.

Day 7 - Holiday! Sunday! Gave it a break

These both days are signs of weakness kicking in!
Dont let it come in way! Kick it

Giving day 6 an avg score of 10.

Total = 169
At the end of WEEK 1.

New Week, Day 8.

Woke up at 6:45 am
Routine, Meditation, Yoga, massage.
Ate Almonds
Drank Soy-Milk.

Evening:
Have to do, no way out.
Green Tea
Book
Excercise.
Work this time, on Mtech!
Fill up some Application form.

Target of WEEK 2.
Total = 169 + 100 = 269

So apart from routine (70 points) , I need 6 Improvements! (+30)
Get up early.
Use evening time more wisely.
Go running.
Add a new yoga pose.
etc.

Up, Up and Above!

I set challenges, I set the rules, I want to win, I don't make it easy for me, I change my habits, my body, my mind. I will not allow the Mind to change me or my body.
My Mind shall now on be under my control.
Who am I?, I am the Soul.

Rules:

1) Give 10 points for every new productive Task You start.
2) For Marked improvements , award yourself 5 points.
3) For being Disciplined, give 1 point in each task.
4) For Being inDisciplined -5 points for that task.

Challenge: Accumulate 1000 points.

Guesstimate of Days to Win.

Suppose I start of with 10 new tasks = 100 points on Day 1.
Assuming I carry out each task in a disciplined way = 10 points per day
So, to get 900 more points, I would need = 90 Days = 3 Months.

To get there faster, I can make CONSTANT IMPROVEMENTS to my plan.
Like a getting up 30 mins earlier. +5
Meditating 5 mins more/ feeling more satisfied (Be strict here) = +5
Adding a new Yoga pose = +5
Starting a Running plan on weekends +10, run an extra day +5
So on..
Assuming every week I make 3 improvements and award 3 Bonuses for feeling good/satisfied, means I boost my weekly score by 30 points a week, from routine 70 to a 100.
Implies , no of weeks to reach 1000 = 9 weeks = 63 days = 2 months.

I will get there a Month Faster!

The Days ahead, will be difficult.
Tread carefully! I do not want to see a dipping curve, that would mean the failure of the whole project.
I cant keep failing , planning and failing. 

A New plan every time motivation kicks in?
Then, fail and forget about the plan and rot ??!!
Until realization dawns and self questioning starts, why am I stuck, then plan again to rot again ?

Day 4 - More success

After 3 days of getting up at 7 'O' clock. It was time, to get up at 6:30 am. I was ready.

Morning:
Got up at 6:30 am.
Ate 10 Soaked Almonds (Badam).
Meditation (longer than before.)
Breathing Excercises (Added 1 more exercise to already existing Vrikshasana)
Head Massage.
Yoga (4 poses. Longer and better this time.)
And finally, Green Tea.

Office:
M.Tech.

Evening:
Bought 3 soy-milk packs and more mouthwash.

-1 glass soy-milk
-1 apple
-Read Book (Vol 1 - Complete works of swami Vivekananda)
-30 Mins Exercise
-Internet time - 45 mins

Have to soak 10 almonds every night.
Have to mouthwash every night.

Analysis:
8:30 to 9:45 - free time
Can add - Jeet Kune Do task.

Observations of the day:
Was more calm.
One peculiar thing is , I recollected / connected many thoughts of the day with TBBT (The Big Bang Theory) Serial. So many thoughts that it was frustrating to catch my mind wander into scenes from TBBT. I watch 4-5 Episodes back to back yesterday, maybe that's why.

Note: What you watch is food for your thought. All thoughts revovle around it. Careful! Watch what you Watch.

Day 3 - Success flows

Woke Up once at 6 but really got off the bed at 7.
-Went shopping for flowers and banana leaf as promised for Vinayaka Chaturthi festival Celebrations.
-Returned to complete the routine - Vrikshasana, Meditation , Massage and Yoga.

Had a sumptuous dinner , followed by TBBT episodes and 2 hr sleep.

Evening
-Excercises
-Worked on lebtop.
-Fruit: Sitaphal

Conclusion:

Graph seems to be going down. Have to act fast and turn it up.

These self analysis post can help reverse the failure pattern of recurring loops.

Points to improve:
Evening:
Drink Green tea and Read a book.
Watch only one episode of TBBT (The Big Bang Theory) or eliminate it.
Use Internet time wisely.
Buy food for Next day's diet plan.


Miscelleneous:
Buy comb, soap.
Brush twice. Oral hygiene is imp. Learnt a 20000rs tooth lesson.

Day 2 Success post!

Another win.

Woke up at 7.
Ate 6-7 Soaked Badam's and drank water.
Vrikshasana (3 sets)
10 min Meditation.
Head Massage - 15 Mins
Yoga - Total 4 Simple Poses. (Increase subsequently)
Drank 500ml Soy-Milk
Cold shower.

Office - Worked on M.tech.
Drank Juice.

Evening:
Drank remaining 500 ml Soy-milk. (alternated days)
Ate an Apple.
Went Shopping for Puja stuff, as promised and planned.
Started Exercise at 8.
-warm up
-push ups (20, 3 sets)
-4 different Abs excercise (2 sets each)
 Drank Green Tea.

Wrote the success post!
The things in bold require more repeatation to make it a habit, going to soak badam's now!

Day 1 - success

Woke up at 7 (an hour less than success!! Ok?)

Did :
Vrikshasana.
Meditation.
Yoga and head massage.

-Applied to another competition at office (5 acre competition)

Evening:
-Bought Soy Milk and Plax (liquid mouth wash)
-Prepared Green Tea.
-Read Book till 7:45
-Exercised till 8:15
-Internet for 15 mins.
-APplied with another Idea to AISEC.
- Its 10:30 now, will sleep after watching 1 TBBT episode.

SHould I get rid of TBBT addiction ?

Anywas a Huge success, from my routine life.

And remember , success lies in discipline.
COntinue no matter what tommorow. I need to see the next update below! else pay 1000/- to Helpage India.

What I want to Do

Every plan I made, hasn't become my routine. Means they've failed.
Why can't all plans sustain, how do they break , crumble ?
Why does the bad-loop start all over every morning ?

I want to feel good everyday morning.
Feel positive.

Rest of the day should be productive. It should feel like things are moving and not stagnant!

How do I achieve this feeling? By achieving something or working at achieving something! A great body! Or calm spiritual mind. Or working towards learning a new skill like Jeet Kune do.

So the process of doing something new or learning new is satisfaction !

I always wanted to find peaceful time of mediation, but always miss out to get up early.
I always want to try out for a month , a new regimen for hair. I miss few days.
I read randomly. I cant keep track of previous last page I left.
I want to eat healthy sprouts, fruits , juices, but do not find time or patience.
I want to welcome each day with happiness, not with negativity.

I want to

- Have a great body. Abs, biceps,etc.

- Be healthy, feel alive, eat planned.

- Practice Meditation and yoga

- Learn Jeet Kune Do.

- Use my time productively , be it working on an Idea, trekking, going to workshops, learning or reading books.

- Plan so that I stick at least 2 Months - No excuse!

Get Disciplined , Not Motivated!

Disciplined. Ok!

Present routine:
8am get up .. hurry to office.
6:30 back. Green tea , relax, internet or sometimes book and sometimes exercise and end it with TBBT 2 episodes at 12:30am.
Net sleep = 7 - 7.5 hrs.

New routine
6am to 8am - free; 8 - 8:30 get ready!
9:30 to 5:30 office
6:30pm to 11pm - free.
Sleep 11pm - 6 am = 7 hrs!

Plan
Morning 2 hrs:
Meditation, Yoga and Jeet Kune do!

Cold Shower! To feel alive!

Evening 4.5 Hrs.
Shop fruits-soy milk, Green tea, Book, Exercise 45 mins, Internet 30 Mins.
